MANUP?: Sharing the World

Director of Guy Cry Club, Ben Driver (he’s in the middle!) was invited to share his perspective in response to the global outcries against racism following the coverage of George Floyd’s murder in America. Organised by Daniel Somers and Jordan Holder of MANUP? - an ongoing campaign to bring men together and talk about mental health - each week sees individuals from all walks of life detail their experiences of lockdown.

The purpose of this particular conversation was to integrate those that belong to different communities, share their viewpoint with one another, and build understanding across those perspectives. Gay, Straight, Christian, Muslim, Black, White everyone’s world view is connected to their identity and the dialogue that unfolded here was incredibly insightful. Listen to the whole conversation above.

Participants: Daniel Somers, Jahed Quddus, Darian Vomund, John Alston, Craig Drew and Ben Driver.

Listen back to all the conversations and check out what else MANUP? are up to here.
