Reflejo by Matias Mendoza
Chilean illustrator Matias Mendoza explores masculinity through depictions of male erotica. In describing his work he cites Toxic Masculinity and how all of masculinity is in crisis. In particular he questions whether men are really able and allowed to enjoy their bodies or whether that is exclusive to women. His work is just as much of a reflection of maleness as it is the wider society in which he lives. And at the moment that is posing more questions than answers.
